Pride Festival Tabling (Grand Rapids)

Help spread the word about Michigan Humanists by volunteering for our information table at booth #57 at the 2024 Grand Rapids Pride Festival at the Calder Plaza!

Volunteers will greet passersby, tell people about Michigan Humanists, hand out free goodies, and encourage people to sign-up for our email list to find out about upcoming events.

To make the day manageable volunteers will be assigned to a 2-3 hour time spot — with 2-3 volunteers working at a time. Volunteers are asked to arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time for parking and to get instructions.

1-2 volunteers are needed for setup from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, and 2-3 volunteers are needed for: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm,  1:00 – 3:00 pm, 3:00 – 5:00 pm and 5:00 – 7:00 pm (includes tear down).

When you RSVP, please include your name(s), email and cell number, and what time(s) would work best for you. Volunteers will each be assigned one time slot. If your schedule is flexible, please list all the time slots you are available to help us with scheduling. If you are available multiple time slots feel free let me know, and we will make use of that only if needed.
