Café Inquiry (Muskegon) – Let’s Brainstorm Fixing the World! (Part 2)

Last month we started fixing the world, but got sidetracked a bit – focusing not enough on the what to do and too much on how to implement the what to do. So we continue this month! There are plenty of problems with today’s world – racism, religious nationalism, climate change, rising fascism (will it NEVER go away???! It seems to come back more often than Dracula!) and the threat of nuclear war. We want to have a brainstorming session to throw out ideas for fixing some or all of these problems. No suggestion will be rejected out of hand. We just want to get some ideas on the table. And… we’re meeting live at an actual venue! So join us at Unruly Brewing Co. in Muskegon at 7 PM! Advance scouting reveals a venue that is spacious and not crowded, and food and beverages are available for purchase! No Zoom link this month as we’re uncertain of the WiFi situation, though this may change going forward. Hope to see you there!

Café Inquiry starts with a short introduction of the day’s topic, followed by casual discussion.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations appreciated, but not expected.

Attendees are able to future propose topics which would align with Michigan Humanist’s purpose: from atheism, agnosticism, humanism, secularism, and freethinking to broader subjects in science and humanities, such as religion, philosophy, social issues, politics, evolution, morality, ethics, and psychology.

Café Inquiry (Muskegon) meets each month on the second Thursday.
